Poha Recipe: Tastes Like a Hot Breakfast, Acts Like a Meal Replacement

Poha which is also known as flattened rice or beaten rice is one of the most loving breakfast and is generally preferred by everyone of us.

This is very quick recipe which hardly takes 15-20 mins of preparation time.

People who are working in office they often get sometimes late due to personal reason or any issues so generally our mother thinks of making poha because it is very quick to make and also it is good as a breakfast.

I always make poha in different way like I have 2-3 ways of making poha.

So I make according to time if there is situation of hurry then, I make the way it take less time and if the time permits then I make it more precisely.

This recipe is also good from health point of view because of the ingredients which we add like poha which is a good source of carbohydrates whereas peanuts which we add little roasted also have the goodness of protein in it is quite healthy and a very lite breakfast.

In winter there is reason of green peas so in substitute of peanuts I always add green peas (watana) whereas In other season when the price of green peas is quite high and also not easily available that time I add peanuts and believe both the way of making it is tastiest like Neither the peanuts are bad Nor the green peas.

There are also people who don’t like peanuts as such or there are also people who don’t like green peas at that moment ,you can skip either it, though it will taste good only there won’t be a major change in the taste.
